Evangelism

Purpose #3: Evangelism of the Unsaved

"(God) who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."     1 Timothy 2:4 (NIV)

The following are some of the ways that Mars Alliance people reach out to others:

Car Cruise    An annual event, usually held in the spring, where we invite the owners of antique and classic automobiles to bring them to our west parking lot.  Awards are given by each of our pastors and a plaque is given to all participants.

Evangelism Explosion    A worldwide ministry dedicated to equipping believers to share their faith with friends, relatives, neighbors and associates. 

Music    The choir would like to reach out into the community with concerts and other events.  If we could be of service to you, please let us know.

Nursing Homes   An outreach ministry to several nursing homes in our area, including Colonial Gardens, Valencia Woods, and Wynwood of Adams Ridge.  It is a ministry of essentially taking our church to those who really cannot attend.  

Upward Basketball      League for boys and girls in grades 1-8  with games held in January and February.   Every child is a winner!!

Vacation Bible School    Annual outreach to the hundreds of children in our surrounding communities.

Venison Dinner    The largest outreach to men each year,  held on the third Monday of January (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day).  The men gather, inviting friends, relatives, and co-workers for a meal of venison, roast beef, homemade pies, etc.   A speaker brings an evangelistic message to close the evening.   Sponsored by the Alliance Men's group.
